Hi, I’m Simone!

I’m a fiction editor based in Yorkshire, England. I specialise in the genres I love most and know best: romance and erotica.

I will help refine your story while staying true to your voice and vision. Whether your manuscript is sweet, clean, steamy or explicit, I’ve got you covered.
My approach is empowering, open-minded, and passionate.

Working with me gives you more than just an edit:
You’ll become a better writer along the way.

I started my career as a library assistant, where I catalogued, organised, and managed all kinds of different media (though mostly books). After moving town, I began working in customer support, building skills in team leadership, training, and quality assurance. Reviewing and refining written communications gave me my first taste of editing and, together with my love of books, inspired me to pursue it as a career.

I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP) and have completed extensive professional training through the organisation, as well as the Editorial Freelancers Association (EFA), Liminal Pages, and Louise Harnby. My work is grounded in industry-recognised standards and best practices, and I continue to expand my expertise.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me with a book in hand, immersed in video games, exploring local cafés, or out on long walks with my family.
